It's almost too beautiful to amend, but it worked out nicely. I ordered this book to "alter" as a papercrafts/scrapbooking project. The quality is excellent.
I had received one as a gift last year- published by the same company- so I went looking for a new one for this year. smiles. I absolutely love this calendar. The quality and the look are perfect for me.
The inside is organized with three dates on each page. It is a beautiful book that would also be fun to use as an altered art object. This is a lovely book made to look just like an antique ledger. Each entry is just big enough to use as a desk planner or as a journal entry.
I find that there is just enough space allotted for each day. I appreciate that it gives as much space for Saturdays and Sundays as for weekdays. As others have said, the paper is substantial and pleasant to write on. I use the books for jotting down notes about the preceding day. This is the third year I've purchased this type of Andrews McMeel calendar. It has a pleasing, old-fashioned, slow-down-and-enjoy-this-moment quality. The book generally seems meant more for personal notes than workaday planning.
Like the format : long and lean, hard to misplace; plenty of room to write notes and appointments; fine paper quality, takes pen beautifully. As it is, there's not one to spare. Second year using calendar in this series. I would have been happier to have some extra pages for general jottings.
